Quantum cryptography

The BB84 protocol of Charles Bennett and Gilles Brassard (1984) was one of the first milestones of quantum computing. It allows two participants to agree on a secret random key without having access to a secure communications channel. This key can then be used to establish a classical secure channel.

Our BB84 kit allows students to walk through the steps of the protocol.
